Oxycodon Effect
 The oxycodone tablets have an analgesic,
sleep-inducing, calming, anxiolytic, euphoric, respiratory depressive
and emetic effect. Oxycodone may be more effective for very severe pain
than for long-lasting pain. The effect of 10 mg oral oxycodone is as
strong as the effect of 20 mg oral morphine, 30 mg oral codeine, 5 mg
intramuscular oxycodone and 33 mg intramuscular morphine. Oxycodone also
has a depressant effect on the cough center.

How fast does oxycodone work? Oxycodone Duration of Effect
 The
effects of oxycodone tablets appear 10-15 minutes after ingestion and
last from 3 to 6 hours. The maximum effect is reached 30-60 minutes
after ingestion.***

Oxycodone Dosage
 Oxycodone is taken
orally. The recommended starting dose for patients 12 years of age and
older who have not previously used opioid analgesics is 10 mg oxycodone
hydrochloride every 12 hours with or without food. Patients who are
already taking opioid analgesics can use higher initial doses if they
need them and if opioids are well tolerated. Take oxycodone tablets
whole with enough liquid.

Can oxycodone and alcohol be combined?
 Alcohol
consumption accelerates the release of the active substance oxycodone
and promotes the occurrence of serious side effects from oxycodone, such
as respiratory depression, drowsiness and drowsiness. For this reason,
patients should avoid alcohol during treatment with Oxycodol 80 mg.
Oxycodol tablets are contraindicated in patients with current or history
of alcohol-drug abuse.

Can you buy oxycodone without a prescription while pregnant and breastfeeding?
Treatment
with oxycodone during pregnancy and lactation can lead to respiratory
depression and withdrawal symptoms in the newborn child. For this
reason, this drug should be avoided.

Oxycodone overdose
In
the event of an overdose, acute opioid intoxication occurs. With
intoxication, respiratory depression, bradycardia, syncope, drowsiness,
euphoria / dysphoria, disorientation, nausea, vomiting, miosis and
urinary retention are observed. Rash, hives and itching may appear on
the skin. A patient can fall into a deep coma. Arrhythmia and acidosis
can also occur. In the worst case, poisoning can lead to vascular
insufficiency and cardiac arrest, after which death occurs.

How quickly can oxycodone become addictive?
Long-term
use of oxycodone increases the risk of dependence. Tolerance can
develop first, followed by physical and psychological dependence.
Sudden
withdrawal of the drug can lead to withdrawal symptoms. If opioid
therapy is no longer required, it is recommended that the daily dose be
gradually reduced to prevent the development of a withdrawal syndrome.
